Recap of New for 2017-2018 at Nashua Catholic
Nashua Catholic  works with eTECHcampus for our online bookstore this year. We are pleased with the expanded options that eTECHcampus has for our families such as, rentals and a Marketplace feature.  Ordering your books NOW will give you the best selection

Red Brick Clothing in Hudson, NH is your one stop uniform store.  Red Brick is eager to serve the Nashua Catholic families as our exclusive uniform supplier in 2017-2018. Nashua Catholic is leaving Educational Outfitters and Lands End.  Both, in store and online options, at www.redbrickschooluniforms.com,  are available through Red Brick Clothing.  We are impressed by the quality and selection our families can be offered locally.
Last year's 7th graders may continue to wear the uniforms purchased for this year through their current 8th grade year.

Our winter sports will, once again, include four Basketball Teams for our boys and girls.  Our "A" teams will compete in Division 3. NC "B" teams will be part of the 5-6 Division next year. We have already started to look for coaches. If you are interested in more information or know of someone who may be interested, please  contact Mr. Farris [email protected]
There will be an Athletic Participation Fee of $25/ season for each season in sports.  This will assist in paying for the necessary buses, officials, uniforms, and other items needed by our Wildcat Teams.  Thank you for your support.

Student schedules will be mailed later this month.  This envelope includes: Band/Chorus Form, Greeley Park Permission Form and Milk Forms.  Please return these papers the first week of school.  Thank you!

Medical Information Updates Needed
A nurse from the Nashua Public Health Department will be in to review all medical folders.  The Nashua Public Health Department does have clinics for shots.  If your child needs updated immunizations, please take care of that as soon as possible and send current medical information to Nashua Catholic. Also, if any student uses an Epi-pen, we need to have a current diocesan form on file signed by your doctor. These are available in the office.

Inquiries and Applications are welcome throughout the year at Nashua Catholic!

Transportation News

PRIVATE BUS:
Families from surrounding towns may be interested in the morning bus service. These buses pick up both BG and NC students. Here is the link to the School Wheels site.

STUDENTS ARRIVING BY CAR:
Students are dropped off at the cafeteria entrance in the parking lot until 7:45 A.M. Parents can use the Columbia Avenue driveway. Students should go to the Bartlett Avenue, gym entrance, after 7:45 A. M. as the cafeteria door will be locked.

STUDENTS LEAVING BY CAR:
In the afternoons, cars should use Columbia Avenue to Wellington Avenue (TWO streets up from the school) and come down Wellington to Bartlett in time for the 2:30 dismissal. Parking on Webster Avenue is limited and should ONLY be used for sports' carpools and sports' buses. Please, do not use Webster Ave. behind Nashua Catholic at dismissal time

STUDENTS ARRIVING BY Nashua BUS:
Eligible Nashua residents will receive their bus passes in the mail from the Nashua Department of Transportation later this summer. We do not know when specifically the passes will be sent, but the Department of Transportation will send out routes and passes once they have finished determining the routes for next year.

What About Lunch?

Celebrations Catering will be providing hot lunch services for the school again this year, Mondays through Thursdays.

Students pre-order pizza slices on Thursdays for Friday's lunch.

"Al La Carte" options will start on Monday, August 28th, but pre-set hot lunches will not begin until September 11th. Students will either need to bring money to purchase items from "Al La Carte" or bring a brown bag lunch until then. Pizza will start September 8th; students interested in buying pizza will need to bring their money to order slices on September 7th. If a student does not wish to have pizza, they should pack a brown bag lunch. "Al La Carte" is not available on Fridays.

If a student is ever with out lunch, they may ask to go to the office for assistance.
