Keeping Kids on Course

Dear Participants and Families,

Registration for the Fall Core Golf & Life Skills Program will begin on Monday, July 24 th.  The fall season will begin the week of September 5 th and run for 8 consecutive weeks.  Please click here to see the full fall schedule.  A registration link will appear on  this page beginning on July 24 th. You will notice that a couple of our classes still say "TBD," and we will be updating this information as it is available.  We are unsure if these classes will open for registration on July 24 th, but if they do not, we will let interested families know updates as we have them.  If you would like to join the notification list for classes at Rivertowne or Wrenwoods, please reply to this email.

To learn more about the different levels offered and eligibility for each level, please click here.  Please note that if your child is registered for a Summer Core Program, please register him/her for a class at his/her current level for the fall.  We will have assessment information out to all summer families later this week.

Salesforce Registration Support for New and Returning Families:

We are very excited to be switching to a new registration platform for the Fall 2017 Core Golf & Life Skills Season.  Salesforce seamlessly integrates our new Blackbaud website with the program registration process and will help us better track all participants' progression and retention.

If your family participated with us previously, you will remember our old registration system, REGGIE.  All data was migrated from REGGIE to Salesforce on December 31, 2016.  This means, if your child participated with us in 2016 or before, YOU ALREADY HAVE AN ACCOUNT IN SALESFORCE.  Please do not create a new account.  Please follow the directions below to create a new password to utilize your active account.

If you are a new family or participated with us ONLY in 2017, please note that you WILL NOT already have a Salesforce account.  The REGGIE data was migrated over at the end of 2016, so any accounts created in 2017 DID NOT TRANSFER OVER.  Starting on July 24 th, you will be able to visit the Salesforce website and "Create an Account."  Please do not create an account prior to July 24 th.

Prior to the start of registration on Monday, we ask that families who participated with us in 2016 or before please activate your Salesforce account using the steps below.
  1. Click this link to visit our Salesforce website.
  2. Use the "Forgot Password?" link in the Log In section to receive an email (this message may be delivered to your SPAM or JUNK folder) with directions on creating your password.  This option should allow all past information to be transitioned to your new account.
  3. Once you have activated your new password and logged in to your account, you should see a screen like the one below that offers a drop down menu that should include all participants (Julia Moriarty) associated with your account (Mark Moriarty).
  4. Please DO NOT attempt to add any NEW participants or create any NEW accounts until registration for your program is live on July 24th.
  5. If the drop down menu does not include all participants associated with your account, or if you experience any other issues, please feel free to contact our office by replying to this email.

Financial Aid and Payments:

Unlike our previous system, you will need to enter credit card information or apply for financial aid to complete your registration.  Checks and cash will no longer be accepted as payment in the Salesforce system.  We apologize for this inconvenience, and please reply to this email if this causes a problem for your family.

Financial aid is no longer a separate process and is now integrated into the Salesforce platform.  After selecting a curriculum class, beginning on July 24 th, you will have the option to select whether or not you would like to apply for financial aid.  If you do, your registration will be paused, and The First Tee of Greater Charleston will review your application.  If selected for financial aid, you will receive an email and will have 48 hours to log back into the Salesforce system to complete your registration.  If the registration is not completed in 48 hours, it will be deleted, the participant's spot will not be saved, and the registration process will have to start over.

Military scholarships are no longer considered financial aid.  When you log in, the very first question you will be asked is if you are a military family.  If you are, please select yes, and you will automatically receive free programming for each child in your family.  Please note that for the fall season, we will be offering a PLAYer level class at Wrenwoods Golf Course on the Joint Base, specifically for military families!

Thank you for your interest in The First Tee of Greater Charleston!  We are looking forward to a busy fall season, and if you have any questions about our programs, please let me know!

Sincerely,

Meghan Taylor
