Thank you to all the riders, volunteers and sponsors for supporting YVSC and the 2017 Tour de Steamboat. We look forward to seeing you next year!

When I came to YVSC's Board of Directors four years ago, I could not have predicted the ways in which the organization would change, and how I would change with it. The ability to change is what makes YVSC such a relevant organization in our community; what makes us "evergreen" is that we are responsive, nimble, and always attuned to how we can be a resource and catalyst for building a sustainable community. Being poised to add value where we can would not be feasible without YOU valuing the work we do: our partners, donors, and fellow community members are what makes it possible for YVSC to bring value to our community.

Personally, over the last four years, I've come to recognize how complex and interconnected having a sustainable community is. In addition to clean air, water, and snow, it includes affordable housing, community development, and advocacy. While we plan for the future, sustainability also demands we understand the work that's been done already. I've committed myself to tending the board legacy that has been entrusted to me. Our current board is ensuring YVSC is sustainable with strong, enthusiastic, engaged board members, a stable strategic plan, and a firm financial footing. Thank you for entrusting us with this task!

Megan Moore-Kemp
YVSC Board President
