PEER ENGAGEMENT
Engage Your Emotions, Elevate Your Leadership
Is being emotional a weakness at work? What about displaying anger around your colleagues and clients? Perhaps your well-expressed anger can help you transform hidden and festering problems; you might create a positive impact in your work, while also uplifting the people around you.

According to executive coach Dr. Susan Bernstein, leaders harness the positive power of their emotions and build unstoppable confidence. Learn to identify and express your emotions in a way that is healthy and productive -- for you and your colleagues. Bring an anecdote or what-if scenario for discussion.

Please RSVP promptly. Space is very limited.

BIOGRAPHIES
Susan Bernstein, Ph.D
Executive & Leadership Coach, DrSusanBernstein.com

Dr Susan Bernstein is committed to transforming our attitudes about feeling our feelings at work. She trains professionals to understand and express their emotions in ways that generate healthier, more productive organizations. An executive coach and leadership consultant since 2001, she supports existing and emerging leaders to harness all of their strengths, including their emotions, to elevate their careers and make a greater impact in the world.

After earning an MBA, she held demanding leadership roles at Intel and Accenture and an educational startup. During that time, she struggled with her confidence, especially when faced with conflict. Sp she pursued a PhD in mind/body psychology, determined to understand the foundation of personal power in the workplace. When she discovered that small bodily shifts such as breathing, posture, and eye gaze lead to big shifts in psychological well-being and confidence, she developed a host of tools that have catapulted her clients to success.

Susan coaches individuals, facilitates workshops, is a keynote speaker, and writes about emotions at work. Her thought leadership has been featured in Fast Company, The Huffington Post, Thrive Global, and Psychology Today. She’s spoken for organizations including the DisruptHR, HR West, Zendesk’s Relate conference, UC Berkeley’s Women in Leadership Conference, and 100 Women in Finance.

Susan earned her MBA at the Haas School of Business at UC Berkeley and her PhD at the Chicago School of Professional Psychology's Santa Barbara campus.
