U.S. 422 AND ROUTE 23 TRAVEL RESTRICTIONS SCHEDULED THIS WEEK FOR BRIDGE CONSTRUCTION IN VALLEY FORGE AREA
U.S. 422 and Route 23 (Valley Forge Road) motorists will encounter travel restrictions this week (June 26 - 30) in Upper Merion and West Norriton townships, Montgomery County, and Tredyffrin Township, Chester County, for bridge construction, the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) announced.

Univest is hiring a Community Relations Specialist
Serve as the point of contact for day-to-day nonprofit relations for all Community Relations Sponsorships. Research request for support weekly and provide information to Director of Corporate Communications for review. Coordinate logistics for approved sponsorships. Leverage all opportunities to elevate Univest's name and support to the communities we serve. Track community appearances and sponsorships on appropriate reports.
Coordinate promotional opportunities tied to community, event-based initiatives to support Univest's lines of business in building relationships and awareness around our integrated solutions. Coordinate the details around the scheduling and distribution of banners, tables, giveaways, gift baskets and other promotional materials. Attend events and take pictures as appropriate.
Build brand awareness by securing opportunities for Buck and Penny - Univest's Eaglet Mascot's - to be in the community. Seek opportunities through sponsorships, parades, educational opportunities in schools and at Univest offices. Assist Public Relations and Social Media Manager in creating demand for these characters through increased usage with financial literacy programs. Maintain the schedule for Buck and Penny and work to secure volunteers for opportunities. Track appearances and report quarterly. Handle maintenance and cleaning with vendor to keep costumes in great condition.
Assist Director of Corporate Communications with monthly processing and logistics coordination around Corporate Contributions. Coordinate attendees to fulfill sponsor ticket benefits and other benefits as directed. Coordinate Univest key role representation at various community events as appropriate.

Pillars of Light and Love is a non-profit launched in 2015 by business owner Kathy Opperman. The main focus of the non-profit is Stress and Life Management for all ages. The Perki-Bay Expedition is a 5-day paddling expedition where the
Perkiomen Watershed Conservancy's youth conservation team will paddle from the source of the Perkiomen Creek in Upper Montgomery County to the Delaware Bay.
Support our conservation team as they venture over 60 miles on the Perkiomen Creek, Schuylkill River and Delaware River. The goal is to generate community support for the protection of the Perkiomen Creek and its hopeful addition to the Pennsylvania Water Trail Program.

Annual Community Patriotic Ceremony at
TRINITY Reformed United Church of Christ, where
the town's first Patriotic observances began after the Civil War. Refreshments will be served and "Our Boys In Blue" book will be available for purchase. The book tells the story of the 35 Civil War vets buried in Trinity's cemetary.
The community is also invited to attend the 9:30am service of worship with patriotic music and hear our youth group share their Appalachian Service Project (ASP) stories from a week mission on the other side of the Mason Dixon Line.

Collegeville Fire Company are working together to serve our community. We celebrate our Third Annual Golf Outing on Monday, July 10, 2017 to support our Fire Company.
The venue is the breathtaking Bellewood Country Club (400 E. Schuylkill Road, Pottstown PA), known for its outstanding golf course and fine dining. The day will include full access to the course, lunch, prizes, raffles and dinner at the elegant club house facilities. The format will be a 4-person scramble with prizes awarded for the first three places. Skills events will also be included.
We are asking for your participation in our golf outing, either through challenging your fellow golfers, by contributing to our raffle to make the day more enjoyable, or by a direct financial pledge.
