Road to the Chunk

June Chunker Meeting Update

Half a dozen chunkers met on June 15 and finalized plans for incorporating targets into this year's competition. In addition to competing in the usual distance rounds, all machines will have the option to shoot at stationary objects during exhibition/accuracy rounds.  Air cannons will be able to aim at targets set at 750 feet and other machines may aim at targets set at 150, 300 and 500 feet. This addition to the 2017 competition is sure to be a "hit" for chunkers and audience members alike.

Meeting attendees also reviewed new event artwork (see above and below with more to come!), discussed content to include on team trading cards, brainstormed ideas for branded merchandise to be sold at this year's event and organized a chunker workshop to be held on Aug. 27 (see next article below).
