Process Measures the key to Perfect Care

The number of process measures mandated by payers continues to rise and healthcare systems often are focused on keeping up with these measures rather than coming up with innovate measures. University of Utah leaders understood the value of process measures to drive perfect care and created a dynamic process where providers come up with process measures and create alignment with outcomes and cost. Physicians were challenged to come up with process measures that defined perfect care specific to a DRG. To find out more about process of establishing DRG specific scorecard examples, click here.
