Thought that would get your attention.  Just like last year, a limited amount of tickets are being sold at the guard desk.
 
100 tickets available - $10 per ticket. 
 
The winner will be announced on July 4th and will have their 2018 membership covered.
    
Tennis Clinics 
 
June clinics run through next Friday and the July schedule will be out soon.  Coach Chris has the kids hopping on the courts - come out and join the fun.  All the information can be found on the website or posted on the bulletin boards.
    
Granite Gear at the Snack Bar  
 
Stop by the snack bar to pick something from the super cool new assortment of Granite logo T's, hats and drink bottles.  
If you have suggestions for other gear you'd like to see, shoot us a suggestion at [email protected].
     
Lewis Ginter 

Due to continuing repair issues, Lewis Ginter pool remains closed.  Along with other area pools, Granite has agreed to keep our doors open to their members on Mondays through Thursdays.

They hope to be open by mid-July but lets make our guests feel welcome until then.
 
One Month In

Hard to believe the pool has already been open for a month but as we wrap up our 5th weekend, here is a cooler full of updates....

July 4th - It's the Annual Granite Independence Day day! 
Games, Grilled food, Music, Patriotism & Freedom on full display. 
Please volunteer to help make this the best 4th yet.

July 12 - Dive-In Movie Night
We'll have the popcorn.  Bring your float and enjoy a movie under the stars.   Email us your movie suggestions (we have 4 movie nights planned).

July 17 - Swim meet vs. Willow Oaks
Pool closes at 4pm.  Keep going Marlins!

July 22 - Annual Meeting / Swim Banquet
Proxy voting forms will be at the guard desk and times will be announced soon
 
Rules & Courtesy Reminders

From time to time, we find it helpful to share some gentle reminders of the rules & general expectations so here goes:

#1. No Glass...Duh

#2. Personal Music 
If the table next to you can hear it, it's too loud.

#3. No drinks along the edge of the pool 
 
#4. Granite does not employ a professional grill cleaner
Treat the grills like your own: Clean the grates; check/empty the drip pan; don't leave food behind.  You get the idea.

#5.  The mannequin in the Rec Building is not a babysitter or a maid - it just models some cool Granite Gear
Visit, buy some food or a hip T, relax in the shade, chat, Foos, etc. but remember (and remind the "kids"):
- Clean up after yourself
- The TV is only for adult use
- No ballgames allowed.  Period.
- The Snack Bar Manager reigns supreme inside and can ask anyone not behaving to leave

#6.  No water balloons

#7.  Wednesdays are float days
- Arm "floaties" are allowed daily but MUST be accompanied by an adult.
- No other flotation devices are allowed except on Wednesdays
.

#8.  The lifeguards have free swim diapers
Not for them but for our youngest members who are required to wear them until potty trained.
