If you call on Tuesday or Wednesday, just leave a message and we'll follow up on Thursday.

 

The office is closed during City observed holidays.
Please contact the Marina office if you notice that a dock needs repair or maintenance, a dock light is out, etc.
All dock gates should be kept closed to help ensure the security of the boats and belongings of all marina patrons.
 
If a dock gate is open, shut it.
 
If you see suspicious activity, please contact the office or the Rock Island Police Department if it's after hours.
Don't forget about our slip referral program.
 
If you're a current leaseholder and know someone interested in a slip, send them in!
 
Make sure they mention your name when they rent a slip so you can receive 10% of the slip lease amount up to $100.
Fishing off the docks is not allowed in the marina.
 
This is to prevent hooks from getting caught in neighboring boat canvas, getting stuck in the dock frame work where it could injure workers making repairs and to keep lost fishing line from getting wrapping around a prop.   
Grilling is permitted only when using an approved electric grill that is properly attached to the boat.
 
As a safety measure, the fire code does not permit other types of grilling in the marina on land or on the docks.
Red, White & Boom
Celebrate the Fourth of July on Monday, July 3rd at Schwiebert Park!
 
Combine free admission, inflatables, entertainers, good dance music, beer garden, military tribute, funnel cakes, the park's play fountain, digital playground and beautiful riverfront location with a fabulous fireworks show and you've got the best Independence Day celebration in the region. The Red, White & BOOM bi-state event has continued to grow and includes military appreciation and patriotic family fun activities.

For those intending to watch the fireworks spectacle from the Mississippi River in a boat, please follow all directions on event day from official boats including the United States Coast Guard and local law enforcement agencies. A full river closure will be in effect from 6:00P to 10:30P between Centennial Bridge and the head of Arsenal Island (just past Rock Island's Schwiebert Park). Boaters can be stationed up Sylvan Slough or on the far side of the Centennial Bridge parallel to Davenport's Centennial Park to view the show from the River. There will be no movement allowed in the closed area of the River until 30 minutes after the final fireworks display of the show.
 
The Landing Boat Dock will be closed to leisure boaters and patrons for the entire day of July 3rd.

Half Price Seasonal Slip Rates
Beginning July 14th, seasonal slip rates will be 1/2 price.
 
If you currently lease a slip, tell your family and friends and you'll earn a referral fee when they rent!

 
Coast Guard Auxiliary Breakfast
The Coast Guard Auxiliary will be serving breakfast on Sunday, July 16th, from 8 a.m. to noon in the parking lot in front of the Coast Guard Auxiliary Station at Sunset Marina.
 
Sausage, eggs, pancakes, orange juice, coffee and milk will be served.
 
The breakfast is open to the public.
 
Adults - $6
 
Kids 12 and under - $3

After Hours Emergencies

If you have an emergency situation after the office and fuel dock have closed, you may call the regular office number 309-732-2282.

 

At the recorded message, select 2 and you will be transferred to the water plant.

 

They will contact the appropriate person for marina emergencies.

 

Please continue to contact the Rock Island Police Department for situations requiring law enforcement assistance.
