A Look Back at School Programs
As we leap into summer camps, we asked a couple of our educators to take a look back at a full season of school programs, in words and pictures.
Garlic Scape "Dilly Beans"
Garlic scapes are the immature flower stalks of a garlic plant. Since we see them at farmers' markets, most of us know they shouldn't be relegated to the compost pile. But how do we cook with them? The Inn kitchen tell us how.
Gov. Scott Signs Farm to School Bill
 VT FEED and the VT Farm to School Network campaigned for the expansion of Farm to School programming throughout the state. On June 7, VT Governor Phil Scott signed a bill to expanding Vermont's programming and set new, ambitious goals for growth. This week, the 2017-18 Northeast Farm to School Institute kicks off at the Farm with a three-day retreat!
Farm to Ballet Returns
Watch the story of a Vermont farm through the seasons interpreted through classical ballet. Pack a picnic or purchase local treats on site. A percentage of proceeds will benefit Jr Iron Chef VT, a student culinary competition hosted by Vermont FEED, a project of NOFA-VT and Shelburne Farms.
