This Week at BJBE
March 19 , 2018
A Note from Sally Sachar, Executive Director

Happy Monday,  Congregants --

With Passover right around the corner, be sure to take note of BJBE's robust plans for the coming weeks. We will be hosting or participating in several Seders, including the Women's Seder this evening, the HUGS Chocolate Seder on Sunday, March 25 at 2 pm (at Congregation Beth Shalom, Northbrook), and the Congregational Second Seder on March 31 at 5:30 pm. There is also a Passover Service on Saturday, March 31 at 9:30 am, as well as a Service and Yizkor on April 6 at 9:30am. We hope you will join us for any or all of these observances. Please note, since so many in our community will be hosting or attending a first night Seder, we will not hold a Shabbat service at BJBE on March 30.

Also, if you haven't gotten your tickets yet for  Czech, Please - a delightful concert featuring  4 Cantors and a Rabbi, including our own Cantor Jennifer Frost - make sure to reserve your spot for April 15, from 4:30 to 6pm. What better way to celebrate getting your 2017 taxes submitted, AND support the Kolin trip at the same time.

And while you are booking your April calendar, don't forget to buy tickets for the 2018 Annual Gala - Don't Stop BJBE-lievin - featuring an 80's theme, with loads of fun foods and plans. This is a wonderful way to support BJBE while having a night out on the town.

Finally, if you haven't stopped by to meet me please do pay me a visit. My door is always open and I love getting to know our amazing BJBE community.

-Sally
