At some point during the evening of Thursday, August 14th an individual, or more likely a group, gained illegal access to the Granite Pool. During their trespassing at least one bottle of wine was broken and glass was verified to be in the well. It is the policy of our pool management company that in incidents such as these we must drain the pool and throughly clean the area. 

The best case scenario for cleanup and reopening would have the pool open on Monday but we will not know for sure until later today or possibly tomorrow. So for now, Friday Night Gigs is cancelled and the pool is closed through the weekend.

Police have been notified and a police report filed. Granite Pool will pursue any legal options available to prosecute the person and/or persons responsible for this crime. If you have any information about this incident please contact [email protected].

We apologize for this closure and just like all of you, the Granite Board was looking forward to an evening of music and a weekend at the pool. It is unfortunate that the irresponsible actions of a few individuals has ruined the fun for our entire community.
