Kitten season is in full swing, and right now we are in desperate need of Kitten dry food and kitten and adult wet food (both pate and gravy varieties).
Since we house between 75-100 cats at our shelter year round, we are always in need of
adult dry food,
baby food, lysine,
paper towels, laundry detergent, bleach, dish soap, hand sanitizer, copy paper, toilet paper, and hand soap.
Not a Prime member? That's ok! Amazon is offering a free 30 day trial membership to Prime. There are many advantages to become a Prime member; faster shipping, free shipping and special pricing exclusively for Prime members.
Of course the greatest benefit to using Amazon is using Amazon Smile which can be used with both regular Amazon accounts and Prime accounts. Amazon Smile donates 0.5% of each purchase to Cat Care Society (when you select our shelter). Please visit http://smile.amazon.com/ch/84-0869447 to start shopping!
We hope you will take advantage of the fantastic savings being offered today and consider helping Cat Care Society while you shop!

Blackhawk is ready for his forever home! This 3 year old young man is incredibly friendly, affectionate, and trusting. Blackhawk was a stray cat that had been abandoned at an apartment complex in Aurora. He was wary of humans initially, but it didn't take long for him to start trusting the human that was feeding him. He was still a little shy when he first arrived at CCS, but he has really warmed up and he LOVES human attention. He really likes petting, belly rubs, and being held. He even gives kisses and hugs in return! Blackhawk gets along well with other cats, but we are not sure about dogs. When he was moved into the Red Room at the shelter he made friends with everyone in the room, and he took a special liking to CC and Quiver. Blackhawk would thrive as the only kitty or in a multi-cat household. He just wants lots of love and attention! Blackhawk would make a great addition to any family- Please stop by to meet him today!

Nine Lives Guardianship Program
|
We all know how to care for our cats, and do everything we can for them as they enjoy their lives with us. But we, as pet owners, should plan for how to care for our animals should they outlive us. CCS has developed the Nine Lives Cat Guardianship Program to help cat owners make these plans. The first step is to make a provision for a gift to Cat Care Society in your estate plan. This will enroll you in the Nine Lives Legacy Society. One of the key benefits of membership is that your cats will be cared for indefinitely by our shelter should they outlive you. This gives cat owners great peace of mind for their beloved pets. Please visit our website below to learn more about this program.

The Perpet-U-Care Program was developed by Cat Care Society to help older cats (10 years or more), and cats with certain chronic medical conditions find homes more easily. It also helps their owners cope with these issues throughout the cat's life. CCS will cover up to $250 of veterinary services at our clinic per calendar year for these kitties. This makes it easier for adopters to care for these older or more challenged cats they have brought into their homes.

The Cat Clinic at Cat Care Society
|
The
dedicated
veterinary care team at the
Cat Clinic continues to save lives! This is Turtle, who was found
by a good Samaritan
in a Walmart parking lot
eating garbage and bleeding from her mouth
. She was immediately brought to our shelter and the clinic team jumped into action! Turtle needed an emergency dental, and Dr. Goodrich and one of our new veterinary technicians, Kevin, stayed late into the night to ensure that Turtle received the critical care she needed.
Turtle had a complete cleaning and 7
total
teeth extracted. Turtle is now able to eat free of pain and she continues to recover beautifully. Thanks to our dedicated clinic team, Turtle was able to receive the care she needed to heal!
The Cat Clinic Expansion Continues! We are moving to the next phase of our clinic upgrade project. We will be launching a crowdfund through LoveAnimals.org in a few weeks for updated vaporizers for our anesthesia machines and updated exam lights. We hope we can count on your support for the next exciting phase of the Cat Clinic expansion project.
The Cat Clinic continues to offer additional appointment times. We are open from 7:00am-6:00pm Tuesday-Friday and Saturday from 8:00am-2:00pm. Please call 303.237.0914 to make an appointment today.
