IACP Reveals the IACP Ambassador Program

IACP Executive Vice President Cynthia Blankenship, Esq.
A Message from Your Executive Vice President Cynthia Blankenship, Esq.

IACP is blessed to have so many amazing members.  You have really stepped up and answered our call for help, whether it is feedback we need, board and committee members, or representing IACP out and about at events.

We heard the feedback from the membership survey that IACP members want the opportunity to represent IACP at events and have the opportunity to share their voice in preserving patient access.  IACP is honored to  receive so many invitations to incredible events. As such, the IACP Membership Committee, Chaired by Doug Yoch, began brainstorming ways to ensure that IACP was at all of these incredible events while also allowing IACP members the opportunity to attend the events and share their voice in preserving patient access to compounded medications.

IACP cannot be everywhere at one time, so the IACP Ambassador program is an amazing program that will allow IACP to expand the number of events we attend, speak at, and exhibit - and that translates into increasing the number of events we can make certain that YOUR voice is represented!

Answering the call, the IACP Membership Committee, Chaired by Doug Yoch, hit another one out of the ballpark and created an incredible IACP Ambassador Program that allows for some amazing opportunities for our Members to get involved and represent IACP while receiving benefits from IACP like a reduced registration rate to IACP events!

It's a win-win! Please take a moment to review the new IACP Ambassador Program and the benefits in store!  Let us know whether you would like to be an IACP Ambassador!

IACP Members are constantly amazing us with their passion and dedication.  We are proud to announce the first three IACP Ambassadors and how they have helped spread the news about IACP and patient access to compounded medications.

IACP Member Lauren Aller from Clinical Compound Pharmacy spoke and exhibited at the LP3 Student Compounding Competition  in Aventura, FL on March 17th - 18th, 2018.  IACP is so proud to have Lauren represent IACP and share more about the Academy's member-driven initiatives and why it is so important to join a professional organization like IACP with compounding pharmacy students.

Thank you, Lauren!

Doug Yoch, IACP Board Member and IACP Membership Committee Chair recently spoke to pharmacy students at  University of South Carolina (USC) during their Pharmacy Day.  Doug, an alumnus of USC, had an opportunity to share more about IACP and why membership was important.  While he was there he got 15 new pharmacy student members signed.

Thank you, Doug! We are so thankful for your leadership on the IACP Membership Committee, Board and as an IACP Ambassador!

Brenda Jensen, IACP Foundation Board Member attended the ACA/ACVP Annual Conference and Expo in Ponte Vedra Beach, FL on February 28th - March 3rd, 2018 and exhibited for IACP.  Brenda was able to share more about IACP and talk with compounding pharmacists from all over about the importance of getting involved with advocacy for your profession.
