What do you like about working for Easterseals?

Having an opportunity to make a difference in the lives of the youth and families that we serve. I especially like working in our northern program because without Easterseals in Lancaster, there would be a huge gap in resources and services for special needs families in this very remote and rural area. There is just no other comparable resource there.

Best vacation you've been on?

Definitely Hawaii-a once in a lifetime opportunity as a teenager and one I will never forget. My best vacations are always anytime I can get to any ocean.

If given a chance, who would you like to be for a day?

I think it would be great fun to be Santa Claus on Christmas.

What values are important to you?

Top 3-Honesty, compassion/kindness, accountability.

  • Lock your computer for short breaks
  • Restart your computer when you leave for the day

Though this innovative grant, Easterseals WFD was able to disperse 5, $1000 awards to help individuals "tip" towards success. These awards had a significant, positive impact on  the lives individuals served by several Easterseals programs in including, Youth Transitional Services and Military and Veterans Services."

More Kudos--Congratulations to Community Based Services Direct Support Associate Christopher Belanger for the certificate of appreciation he received for excellence in service from Gateways Community Services at their annual awards banquet.
