EDUCATION SESSION #745
Exploring Intellectual Property as a Real Asset
Intellectual Property (IP) is arguably the most important driver of growth, innovation and asset values. IP is fundamental to all industries, and especially to pharmaceuticals, music, filmed entertainment, software and technology. What do you know about establishing and understanding the value of patents, copyrights and other forms of intellectual property? How can you invest in IP? What is the expected return, and risk profile associated with such investments? Hear an overview of IP as a real asset and then delve deeper into the specifics of IP, its key investors and market players. Bring your questions about the investment implications of IP lifecycles in general and with respect to individual industries.
