From Pastor Michael Harsch

Our desire as a church is that every person who enters our doors will know they are loved, welcome and safe. Because of this goal, we have several  ministries that exist to welcome and care for our church family and guests.

On April 15 we are hosting a free lunch and training session  for all individuals who are involved or interested to be a part of Riverbend 'Guest Relations.'  This includes these ministries:  Greeters, Welcome Center,  Guest Reception, and our Safety Team (promoting security and physical health for all guests).

If you are a part of these ministries and able to join us, please contact  either your ministry leader or the church office (672-1821) to register for this training event.

If you are not yet part of one of these ministries, but are interested, please call the  church office (672-1821), as well.

For further info, contact me by clicking here.

Sole-Savers

Saturday, March 24

A Note From Kim Bartlett of Riverbend's WARM Ministry

WARM, a ministry of Riverbend, ministers regularly to mothers in a drug and alcohol rehabilitation facility in Flager County.  WARM is an acronym for Women Assisting Recovering Mothers.

Women from Riverbend go weekly to minister to these ladies and their young children, as well as driving them to attend worship with us on Sunday mornings.

If you would like more information about what the Lord is doing through the ministry or how you can help, please contact Bonnie Harris at 386-589-3512 or Kay Moody at 386-383-3828.

We are in need of childcare help for Monday nights, drivers for Sunday mornings, hospitality support, encouragers, prayer support, and much more!

Group Heading to Bible Museum

A group of Persevering Saints (senior adults) from Riverbend is heading to Washington, D.C., during May 19-25 (Saturday-Friday) to visit the new Museum of the Bible and several other venues in the nation's capital.

This new museum, which opened last November, is a seven-story facility that documents the narrative, history and impact of God's Word.

Riverbender John Nero, who is heading up this event, has arranged visits to both the Senate and House galleries at the Capitol Building, the Library of Congress, the Bureau of Engraving & Printing (where U.S. currency is printed), etc.

If you are interested, please contact John before March 30: call 257-3314 or click here.
