A Note from Pastor Wood
Jesus says, "So everyone who acknowledges me before me, I also will acknowledge before my father who is in heaven, but whoever denies me before men, I also will deny before my Father who is in heaven."
When we hear the word confess we are probably quick to think about the act of confessing one's sins during worship or privately to a pastor or Christian brother or sister. One of the dictionary definition of Confess is this, "To acknowledge one's belief or faith in; declare adherence to." This is the type of confession Jesus is talking about in our Gospel Lesson for this morning ... Continue Reading

Update from the Call Committee-June 20, 2017
The Call Committee contacted 8 of the 20 pastors that were identified by Missouri District President Hagan as potential candidates for our new senior pastor.  Of those eight, six were not in a position to consider a call at this time,
but we conducted SKYPE/phone interviews with two candidates, both of whom remain under consideration for the position of senior pastor.
The Committee has submitted additional names to President Hagan for possible consideration, and will continue the review and initial interview process in early August.
Please continue to pray for the Holy Spirit's guidance for the Call Committee.  The Committee hopes to bring a recommendation to the congregation in early September, although that timetable is flexible.

New Phones & Voice Mail!
We are excited to announce that we have replaced our outdated and not fully functionally office phones. One of the more useful additions is that we now have voicemail for the whole office. You can now leave a message for each staff member individually. When you call you will be prompted to select the voicemail box of the person you are trying to reach. Our new system has some great features including several options to retrieve messages while away from the office.
Please make use of these extensions to reach our staff and to leave messages while they on vacation or on days off.
CALL 781-8673 and enter the extension selection while message is playing:
Main office (Kathy) - Ext. 101
Pastor Rall - Ext. 102
Pastor Bill - Ext. 103
DCE Mark - Ext. 105
