JULY NEWSLETTER

It's July.

And yet, Mother Nature remains confused.

It's hot. It's cold. It's spring. Oh wait (!) it's summer.

If you hair looks like Mary's (picture above) remember, we can help calm the frizz with a keratin treatment or an express blow out. If your hair doesn't have its own zip code but just enough frizz to make you crazy, try the HumidityRx - it will help cut the frizz AND set your make up.

If the pool or beach is messing with your locks, we can treat it with a detox shampoo.

You've got summer hair issues. We've got summer hair solutions!

Enjoy your 4th and enjoy the month!

How Do Homeless Women
Cope With Their Periods?
A few weeks ago I posted this video on my personal FB page.

I have never had to go without food so I could have a  feminine hygiene product.
I have never been "in the system."
EVERYONE has a story.

I contacted my friend Kathleen, who is the assistant to the director at the Jan Peek House in Peekskill to ask if tampons were items the shelter needed. I received an immediate response of yes.

The following day Kathy and I talked about how this video had impacted us. And we decided we wanted to do something to help.

SO, with YOUR help, we are going to turn the month of July into a month of giving.

We are seeking donations of boxes of tampons. That's right. Tampons.

Each client that brings us a box to donate to Jan Peek House will receive a free conditioning treatment. You can bring one box, or two boxes, or a case if you have access to such things.

From our salon and your hearts  to women who need a little tenderness, we will do what we can.

Thanking you in advance for what we hope is an avalanche of boxes.
