Summer vacation is around the corner and the words "I'm bored!" are ones that strike dread in the heart of parents and caregivers.  If you are searching for fun and easy ideas to keep everyone happily occupied during the summer check out the new physical activity packs at the Brock Township Public Library.

These great activity bags include supplies, equipment, and instructions for classic, simple, games that make for lots of outdoor fun.   Feeling like flying a kite, collecting insects, playing Frisbee, or creating a jumpsie rope?  How about playing hopscotch, foursquare, or just creating sidewalk art?  Library activity packs can get you started.  Most equipment and materials must be returned to the library but things like that jumpsie rope you made... you can keep it!

Activity bags may be borrowed at any branch of the Brock Township Public Library.  They go out for three weeks and will provide hours of fun for the family.  Adults will discover activities that were childhood favourites and children will enjoy learning new games and skills.

When you are all tired out from kite flying, rubber ball games, and bug hunting, come into the library and cool down with a book, magazine, Lego, Xbox, or board game.  The Brock Township Public is a place where you'll never be bored!
