Please join us this Sunday, June 18th for the Feast of Corpus Christi.
Solemn procession after 11 am Mass.

Corpus Christi celebrates the greatest gift Christ left his Church: His Real Presence in the Blessed Sacrament. This feast was requested by Our Lord through St. Juliana of Liège in the 13th century, and its Mass and Office was composed by St. Thomas Aquinas at the request of Pope Urban IV.
This great feast is often celebrated by priests and laity with a Eucharistic Procession through the streets. With this celebration Catholics show their love for Our Lord in the Blessed Sacrament by honoring Him in a very public way. They also show their love for their neighbors by literally bringing Christ to them, bringing them physically close to his Sacred Heart. (courtesy @CatholicCompany)
