Fireworks Regulations

As we prepare to celebrate our Country's Independence Day, we need to remember the City's regulations related to discharging fireworks.  The City allows fireworks to be discharged beginning June 20 and continuing until July 5.  They are allowed to be discharged until 10 pm Sunday through Thursday and until 11 pm on Friday and Saturday.

Please remember the importance of safety and proper handling of the fireworks. Be considerate of your neighbors with the direction they are discharged. Fireworks shall not be discharged in  a negligent manner and the debris left behind should be disposed of properly.

Stay Tuned for the McAuley Playground  Dedication

Cottleville's newest playground, McAuley Playground, has already been being used and enjoyed by many. Located just behind the Mercy Children's Medical building off Mid Rivers Mall Dr., it's an awesome addition to Cottleville's amazing array of parks and playgrounds.  Check it out today!

Parking, Blocking Sidewalks
As always, common sense, courtesy, and caution will do more than the statutes and codes to keep us all safe while we run (and cycle) for fun and fitness. We are principally doing these activities for health and enjoyment, and getting in an accident defeats both. Knowing and following the law can help keep us all running and pedaling safely.

Please Slow Down in Subdivsions!
Now that school is out and summer is upon us, please be aware that children are at play, runners are out, and folks are outside more in general. Please be aware of your surroundings in subdivisions and parks and make a conscious effort to stay alert and slow down so that                         everyone can enjoy a safe and fantastic summer in Cottleville!

Mosquitoes &
Your Safety

Summertime brings fun in the sun, but it also means pesky critters which can be annoying, and even dangerous.  If you need to request additional mosquito control in your neighborhood, email  [email protected]

Mosquito safety is as easy as A, B, C, D...
A void bites---use insect repellent!
Be safe---always follow the repellent label instructions!
Cover up---wear loose, light-colored long sleeves and pants!
Dump---remove standing water around your home to reduce mosquito habitat!
