Congratulations Icee Stengel
Through Icee's efforts, and with the assistance of her Employment Specialist, she has obtained employment with Publix as a front service clerk!

"Icee is a very responsible young lady and is excited to embark on this new journey," said her  Employment Specialist  Tricia Ayoung Chee. "She looks forward to starting her new job and is thrilled to be working for Publix, as she is an active Special Olympics athlete and Publix is a dedicated supporter of Special Olympics."  Read On

Margate Elementary School Recognizes ADT/Community Inclusion Volunteers
On May 25, 2017, 25 members of Victory Living Programs' ADT/Community Inclusion Program were recognized at a volunteer appreciation breakfast at Margate Elementary School. Principal Thomas J. Schroeder and Vice Principal Vicki Flournoy presented each volunteer with a certificate and special gift for their weekly volunteer efforts at the school's cafeteria.  Read On

Volunteer Spotlight: Leo Levy

Every Tuesday, Leo Levy spends his time working with clients on arts and crafts projects, strengthening their reading and writing skills, and planning new volunteer projects. 

When asked what he loves most about volunteering his time with Victory Living Programs, he responds with "I love being useful and I gain terrific satisfaction from worthing with the guys each week." Read On

Meet Tori Bolding
Tori Bolding has been selected to to be a part of the Victory Living Board of Directors. 

A South Florida native,  Ms. Bolding is the Director of Financial Reporting at MedAffect. She has worked in the accounting industry in both the private and public sector for more than six years. She holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Accounting from Fordham University.

Sports Update
Bowling practice starts July 22, 2017 from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. at the Sawgrass Lanes in Tamarac.  County bowling games will be September 23, 2017. 

Softball practice will be starting July 22, 2017. Softball invitational games will be held in West Palm Beach on Saturday, August 12, 2017.

Thanks for Joining Us at Bokampers 
On Monday, June 19, 2017, we hosted a give back fundraising event at  Bokampers Sports Bar & Grill in Plantation where 20% of the day's sales were donated to support Victory Living Programs. As a special treat, "the guys" had a dinner night out and joined those who attended the fundraiser between 7 and 8:30 p.m.

We had approximately 100 supporters join us at Bokampers - thank you all for coming out!
