The Worldly Marketer newsletter  -   July 2017 edition

Verbaccino News

I'm back and mostly recovered from the 34th edition of LocWorld, which was held in Barcelona, Spain. What a whirlwind! I was extremely honoured to speak on the keynote panel, but the whole conference was such a positive experience: the beautiful location, the wonderful people, the wide variety of interesting presentations, the great conversations, and of course, the fantastic food.

Not only did I finally get to meet some of my previous podcast guests face to face, I also made lots of new connections - both from the vendor side and from the client side of the localization industry. I can't wait to introduce as many of them as possible to you on future episodes of The Worldly Marketer Podcast, so stay tuned!

And now, it's time for a big party! July 1st is Canada Day and this year, the festivities will be extra-special: my fellow Canadians and I are celebrating the 150th birthday of our Constitution. Hashtag #Canada150! And of course, south of the border, my American friends will be celebrating their  Independence Day on July 4th.  So here's wishing everyone on both sides of the Canada-U.S. border a very happy long weekend!
