June 16, 2017
Hi all,
There is NO rule that says union meetings have to be boring! Here is a photo of six Zone A members (+Dean DeBroux) attending a Leadership Boot Camp workshop yesterday on a pontoon boat. What a beautiful day - what great conversations!

I hope you take the time to, at the very least, skim through this newsletter. And I hope you're enjoying your summer!

Peace,

Political Action
This is an 11.0101(10)(b)(1) communication with WEAC members

Tell Your Legislators to Make Public School Funding a Priority in the Budget.

Join Citizen Action Northeast Wisconsin for the kick off announcement with State Rep Eric Genrich as they launch the "BadgerCare for All" public option fight to go beyond the Affordable Care Act. Citizen Action will join elected leaders to announce a new effort to allow individuals and small businesses to purchase BadgerCare coverage no matter what income they have. This means BadgerCare would directly compete with insurance companies and negotiate with pharmaceutical corporations to lower costs for all.

Join them for this important and timely event on Monday, June 19 at 10:30 a.m. at Kavarna Coffee House, 143 N. Broadway, Green Bay.  Please arrive by 10:15.
