The Board of Directors of Resources for Human Development announced that Marco Giordano would become interim CEO effective July 31, replacing Dyann Roth. Giordano had been RHD's Chief Financial Officer since 2013.  Generocity.org featured the transition in a story titled Marco Giordano's RHD is all about a 'values-based' organizational culture "The Board feels tremendously fortunate to have Marco in position to step in as Interim CEO," RHD Board of Directors' Chairman Michael Denomme said. "Marco's experience and leadership will be invaluable during this transition, and he is absolutely the right person to help guide RHD at this time." NFL legend Dick Vermeil will host Philly Pours, a unique wine and food event that benefits RHD's Children's Services. The menu for Philly Pours will be created specially by one of Philadelphia's hottest chefs, Sylva Senat.

RHD's Morris Home honored by Mayor's Drug & Alcohol Commission for work with Philadelphia's transgender population

RHD's Morris Home was honored by the Mayor's Drug and Alcohol Executive Commission with the 2017 Treatment Provider Award at this year's 20th Annual "Making a Difference" Recognition Dinner. Morris Home is the first residential treatment program in the country to offer comprehensive services specifically for trans and gender variant individuals, and was founded by RHD in 2012.
