Poly student & faculty selected for 2017 Bezos Scholars Program
Congratulations to Isaac Spokes '18 and World Language Chair Seniora Regina O'Neal for being selected to participate in the 2017 Bezos Scholars Program. Founded in 2005 by the Bezos Family Foundation, the Bezos Scholars Program provides a trip to the Aspen Ideas Festival in June to thirty exceptional high school students and educators from across the U.S. and the African Leadership Academy.
Following the week of learning and leadership development in Aspen, rising seniors and their educators return home to organize their own community change projects, known as Local Ideas Festivals. We can't wait to learn more from our Bezos Scholar and educator upon their return from Aspen and develop their Local Ideas Festival here at Poly!
