Explore the galaxy, Hollywood-style, and  watch some of our favorite space-themed movies.
  • Friday, July 21st, 1:00 p.m. - Space Cowboys. NASA recruits four retired Air Force pilots to stop a runaway Russian satellite from hitting Earth. Starring: Clint Eastwood, Tommy Lee Jones, James Garner, Donald Sutherland, and James Cromwell Click to register.

          On August 21st, 2017, families across the nation will gaze  skyward to witness one of nature's most amazing sights: an eclipse of the sun. Is your family ready? The eclipse will not be total in Connecticut, so it is important that you prepare NOW to safely witness this event. 
           Join Central Connecticut State University Professor of the Geological Sciences Department Dr. Kristine Larsen on a journey through space and time, as she recounts her personal eclipse viewing adventures and helps you prepare to view an eclipse of your very own.  Registration required.
