Philippians 4: Joy and Phronéō
Phroeō is a word Paul uses several times in his letter to the Philippians. It is a way of thinking, feeling and acting. Paul encourages us to think, feel and act in the way of Jesus, becoming more and more who we were created to be. Joy is a significant aspect of thinking, feeling and acting in the way of Jesus. It is not some forced or fake happiness, rather it is waking up to the reality of a way of life in God that is possible even in the midst of great hardship. Joy is recognizing life as a gift from God and living in gratitude to God for God's many good gifts to us. Join us as we explore the end of this letter together.
Sports Camp

June 19-23

This year's sports include Team 45 (ages 4&5) Ultimate Frisbee, Soccer, Basketball, and Dance!

Volunteer Needs: Assistant Coaches, Registration Team, Field Monitor, provide snacks, take college team (5 students) out or have them over for dinner,

Gilead House Service Opportunity

Kate Paper Book Release


Our partner, Creative Interfaces will be hosting our very own Kate Pepper's book release on Saturday, July 1. Kate's new book, 
Dipped in Black Water , was awarded the New Women's Voices Chapbook winner in 2016. Please join us at The Cedar House to celebrate Kate and her book on July 1 at 1637 5th Ave., San Rafael. Exact time tbd. For more info on Kate's book go here: 

Family Mexico Trip

Join Be2Live and other families as we go to La Mision to serve with the people in Mexico. 
Dates: July 30-August 4th
Cost includes - food, lodging, t-shirt, training and an amazing experience:
- 10 years and older: $490
- 10 years and younger: $310
- We are asking each family to donate $95 for projects.
The price does not include transportation. We will meet in San Diego at noon on the 30th and car pool to La Mision.

Plant with Purpose Vision Trip

We have the opportunity to join Plant With Purpose on a vision trip September 18-22 to see the work that is happening in Oaxaca, Mexico. We will have the opportunity to visit our partner village, San Isdro Tremintina and see the work of economic, environmental and spiritual development among the rural poor of southern Mexico.

Prayer Requests

At BayMarin, prayer is a vital part of community life. We have three different teams of people who pray for the prayer requests that are submitted. Please share your prayer request with us  here.
Faith Community Opportunities

Our Faith Communities are our small groups - where church really happens as people live life together on a regular basis. We are looking for folks who would be willing to help lead and or host a Faith Community. If you are interested in learning more or joining a Faith Community, please contact Bryan.
