FH Advocates for Awareness headed to Capitol Hill to make sure their elected representatives #KnowFH.
The FH Foundation® trained a new group of FH Advocates June 3rd-4th in Washington D.C.  After two days of intense preparation, these dedicated volunteers visited 24 Congressional offices on Capitol Hill to raise awareness of familial hypercholesterolemia (FH) as a public health concern impacting thousands of families.

The FH Foundation now has 60 trained FH Advocates in 26 states. We are deeply grateful for their commitment to take action in their communities and at a national level to improve the understanding, diagnosis and care of individuals with FH across the US.

"Being a part of the FH Foundation means shedding light on the shadow that has been cast over our families for more than 3 generations - shifting the power of my disease from victim to advocate."

- Sarah, FH Advocate
