Updated Summer Hours

Starting June 19th, the LGBT Resource Center will begin it's summer hours
Mondays through Fridays from 8am-4:30pm

Please note that we will be closed will be closed on June 20th and July 4th.

Pride Work Party
Friday, July 14th, 2017 
1-3pm, LGBT Resource Center

Join the LGBT Resource Center at this year's Pride Work Party!  This is where we really pull things together and build energy for the parade.  From our signs, t-shirts, other decorations, and logistics! It will be a fun afternoon filled with pizza, ice cream, and good company.  We can't do it without you so please come out, show your support, and bring a friend!

March in the San Diego Pride Parade 2017!
Saturday, July 15th, 2017 
10am, Hillcrest Pride Flag

Join the LGBT RC in San Diego's LGBT Pride Parade.  It will be a fun day of marching through Hillcrest, raising awareness about issues impacting our community, and engaging with the greater San Diego area.  We will be meeting at 10AM at the Hillcrest Pride Flag, exact location will be emailed to you so please make sure to  register !

Balboa Park Clean-Up
Thursday, July 17th, 2017
9am-1pm,   
Balboa Park
6th Ave and Juniper Rd

UC San Diego Alumni will be teaming up with San Diego Pride to help put Balboa Park back together after Pride weekend. Volunteers will be cleaning up by taking down events signage, inventorying, and packing up supplies.

Volunteers should be able to lift 25 lbs pounds. All ages welcome. Join us is strengthening the Triton community and showing pride for our beautiful city.

Introduction to Mindfulness for Staff

Join us for this workshop where you will learn:
· The theory, research and benefits of mindfulness
· Techniques to focus the wandering and distracted mind
· How to cultivate compassionate awareness of self/others
· The neuroscience of happiness and power of perception
 
This workshop will be co-facilitated by Megan Leuchars and Cassondra Graff, both whom teach  Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction and Mindful Self-Compassion at UC San Diego's Center  for Mindfulness. QTPOC Art Show

We welcome all art forms! Submissions are closed to QTPOC-identified people

We accept spoken word, dance, performances, visual art, all paint mediums, print-making, zines, photography, and poetry.

Theme is to be determined, but general theme is related to decolonization, anti-racism, autonomy, and the transformation and liberation of QTPOC people. We are looking for artists now!

We will have vendors, food, community organizations who will table and a beautiful night of music, performance, dance and art
