Worship This Weekend
FCC Stained Glass

Come worship at First Christian Church this weekend!  Holly Irvin, our Director of Music and Youth Ministries will be preaching.  Her sermon will be called, "A Welcome Place," and it references Romans 15:1-7.  The scripture discusses what being welcoming is, and what it means for a congregation to be so.

Our Gift of Music at the 9:00 service in the sanctuary will be, "A Welcome Place," sung by the Chancel Choir.  At 10:15 in Fellowship Hall our outstanding One and All Band will sing and play some of our favorite worship songs.  Grab a friend and gather in Fellowship Hall, where a light breakfast and coffee will await you.

It's Silver and Gold Sunday!  We will honor those congregation members who have been married 25 or 50 or more years.  Watch a slideshow of the honorees in the 9:00 service and in the Centrum, where there will be a reception at about 10:00.

A message about Gifts for Another Table:
Let's all pitch in and give a few food items for Center For Hope.  The items suggested are as follows: rice dinners, pasta and sauce, potato dinners and sauce, Hamburger Helper, boxed mashed potatoes, and canned vegetables/fruit.

  Things to Do While
You Are at Church

Bring your Box Tops for Education for Bent School.  Place them in the Disciples Women's Ministries mailbox near the office and they will be taken to the school by May Jackson.  Thank you!

Check In on Facebook while you are at church (top right button on Facebook app news feed).  At the One and All service feel free to use your device for social media, to share photos and thoughts about your worship experience as it happens.

Make a new friend!  Greet a visitor.  Show folks around and help them with questions they might have -- you might even invite them to Fellowship Time, which is a super way to break the ice!  The bulletin is a great source of information for visitors, as is the Information Center.  Let's be a welcoming church!

Where to Park??

Please remember to park, if you are able, in
the Pantagraph lot or in our parking lot catty-corner from the church to the northwest.  This will leave available the north church parking lot for visitors and those who need to park close.
