Yakutia Airlines requires that firearm and ammunition details be entered into the reservation of any traveler checking a firearm. Required information includes: firearm make, model, and caliber, and for the ammunition - quantity of rounds, number of boxes, and weight in kilograms. Here is a sample Special Service Request (SSR) entry (actual format varies from GDS to GDS):

WINNERS ANNOUNCED IN YAKUTIA AIRLINES' YAKUTIA PHOTO CONTEST

Wild berry picking is a common activity among families in Yakutia. Runner-up photographer Irina Darbasova

InterPacific Aviation and Marketing Inc/AirRussia.US announced winners of the 3rd annual photo contest dedicated to the Republic of Sakha (Yakutia). More than 170 photographs were submitted. Examples of images included photos of wildlife, scenic beauty, festivals, city life, outdoor recreation in Yakutia, and more.

The winner is Vladimir Fedorov and his photo of a boy with a mammoth tusk. The photo was taken near famous Berelyokh Mammoth "Cemetery" at the Indigirka river in Yakutia (See the winning photo at the top of the Newsletter). He will receive the grand prize of 2 free round trip tickets on Yakutia Airlines from Yakutsk to Anchorage.
 
Three other runner-up photographers will have an opportunity to purchase round trip air tickets from Yakutsk to Anchorage for $400.
