Worship: Sundays @ 8:15, 9:40, 11:00 am | Wednesdays @ 6:35 pm
Dear Friends,

Last week while 300 children and 150 volunteers were enthusiastically participating in our Vacation Bible School, your pastors and a dedicated team of lay members were representing Trinity at our Annual Conference in Orlando, FL. To give you a glimpse into the work of this conference, I wanted to share with you the sentiment Bishop Ken Carter shared on his Facebook page at the end of our time together. He wrote:

"I am in awe of the people of the Florida Conference. We are a big and diverse annual conference, and we are a work in progress, but what happened this week---
Spiritual revival
The covenant with Cuba
Remembering and praying on the anniversary of the Pulse tragedy
Aligning our work in eight districts
Commissioning missionaries
Naming injustice
A plan for twice the number of vital congregations in 2025
Celebrating 80 Fresh Expressions in the last four years
Licensing, commissioning and ordaining an amazing group of men and women
---is, I am convinced, the work of God."

It was indeed a time of revival and a powerful reminder of the strength of our connection as United Methodists committed to following Wesley's three simple rules: Do no harm, Do good, Stay in love with God. For more detailed information about Annual Conference, go here.

I look forward to gathering with you for worship on Father's Day and listening to what God might have to say to us through a story about two sons and their father. See you Sunday!

Grace and peace,
Aaron

PS - If you didn't pick up a Trinity magnet clip and postcard about our summer "month of missions" this past Sunday, be sure to pick one up this Sunday. You might even consider picking up an extra for a friend or neighbor to share with them what will be happening through Trinity this summer.
