Michael Costello is Coming to 9th and Main
Michael Costello has dressed everyone from Beyoncé to Lady Gaga. A red carpet staple, Costello has long kept a studio in the Fashion District. The retail boutique will open at 901 S Main St. later this summer and feature bridal and evening gowns, as well as a curated selection of dresses under $500. Avenue des Arts Opened at 8th & Los Angeles St

Avenue des Arts celebrated its grand opening at 807 S Los Angeles St. The art gallery, founded by former tennis pro Dimitri Lorin, represents some of the world's leading urban and contemporary artists. As part of its grand opening, gallery artists created 6 murals around the building, which can be viewed at Werdin Place and 8th Street. The current exhibition displays work from Hopare, Pez, Matt Gondek, Pixel Pancho, Monkey Bird, Seen, Kan, Nico Giquel, Elphege, Kriki and Victor Castillo.

Over the weekend, Jeff Hamilton Studio (of Jeff Hamilton Jackets and Guess? Jeans fame) hosted Street Art Fair Pop-Up . The street art trade show featured established and emerging street artists from around the world, including a booth by Fashion District-based Fathom Gallery. The studio is planning to regularly host art events throughout the year.
4th of July Holiday Hours
Wholesale businesses are expected
