My Baby & Me Spotlight
Each month, we will highlight the wonderful work being done through our My Baby & Me Program's Pregnancy Educator, Rebecca.
May Spotlight:
Nearly 50% of My Baby & Me participants report the following situations as triggers for feeling tempted to use alcohol:
* being around others drinking
* at celebrations/parties

My Baby & Me can assist women in anticipating these situations and identifying effective coping skills to utilize when faced with temptations.

You can also support this through materials such as the " Staying Alcohol-Free in Social Situations" brochure. Order some for your participants today by emailing us at [email protected]

"Rebecca would go through a plan/goals- that was the most helpful for me. Having a conversation about alternatives and what you'll do in certain situations."- MBM Participant
Care For You
Summer Transitions

Summer is a time for transitions- the end of the school year, the beginning of a new schedule, vacations and relaxation, and maybe for some even graduation. During these times of transition, think to yourself- what do you need to hear right now?

You know yourself best, so why not be your own source of advice! This month's journaling exercise gives you the opportunity to tell yourself what you need to hear. Enjoy!
