And finishing the summer on August 19 is returning favorite Eric Ian Farmer. He keeps alive classics by artists like Marvin Gaye, Otis Redding, and Bob Marley, as well as shares his own songs about relationships, social awareness, and finding one's path in life. All concerts begin at 7 pm on the beach. Snacks and drinks will be for sale by the Friends group. The summer concert series began in the summer of 2015 to increase awareness and to raise funds for projects in Whipple Dam State Park. A $5 donation is suggested. The Summer Concert Series is sponsored by the Friends of Greenwood Furnace, Whipple Dam, and Penn-Roosevelt State Parks. All donation proceeds go to the Friends group for projects at Whipple Dam State Park. The Wake-Up Reception is open from 9:30am-10:30am. Food is available on a first-come, first-served basis, while supplies last. Door prizes will be drawn at 10:30am.
