Are you interested in gardening; flowers; bees, birds, and butterflies; reading? Then consider joining the Stewardship of Creation Committee's (SOCC) Summer Book Study group centered around stewarding God's creation at home! We'll be reading Noah's Garden: Restoring the Ecology of our own Back Yards by Sara Stein. On Sundays in July, we'll meet for about an hour following the 10 a.m. service. Education for Ministry (EfM) is a distance learning program that aims to increase understanding, deepen faith and strengthen ministries. Holy Comforter will have two EfM groups in the 2017-18 program year. Learn more and register.

On the first Sunday of the month Holy Comforter offers a Healing Eucharist with the Laying on of Hands and Anointing for healing. The Healing Ministry is being led by the Rev. Valerie Hayes and Ms. Alexandra MacCracken.

Please consider donating the following items:

• Shoe Boxes -- to have on hand just in case a student forgets to bring one in from home. We want to ensure that everyone has a treasure chest to collect, store, and take home their handouts and crafts.
• Stuffed Animal Sheep -- for a new activity with Hagrid. No sheep is too small or too large.
