New Neighborhood SAFETY & SECURITY Rebate Programs
After consulting with SSA #33 taxpayers and neighborhood stakeholders over the past six months, as well as engaging a public quality-of-life consultant (
Responsible Hospitality Institute President & Founder
Jim Peters), WPB SSA #33 has updated its previous graffiti abatement rebate program to include a range of
safety-related rebates:
- Security cameras
- Exterior lighting
- Anti-smash glass film
- Window repair
- Graffiti removal
- Private security
The new rebates are for eligible properties within the boundaries of WPB SSA #33, and will reimburse 50 percent of the cost of one or more of these neighborhood safety measures, up to $1,000 per measure annually, per location. Private security reimbursements are eligible for up to $2,500 annually, per location.
Green Message
On Independence Day, there are a number of ways to help the environment without sacrificing your 4th of July festivities. Use compostable serveware, solar lights, and propane or sustainable charcoal products. Check out the rest of this helpful
list from the folks at Inhabitat!
