June 2017 Luncheon Follow-up - Parking Problems!

A question was posed from the audience at the June luncheon to our speaker, Michael Wilson, that he needed to research. Here is the question and answer:
Q. Can ADA Accessible Parking stalls be assigned for dedicated use?
A. No, you cannot assign the code required accessible stalls to an individual.
However, if your facility provided more than the code minimum required ADA Accessible Parking stalls, then the stalls that exceed the minimum required could be assigned.

Volunteer Project THIS Summer: Work It, IFMA!

The Community Service Committee is planning a work party... and you're invited! San Diego Youth Services (SDYS) is in need of some painting and clean up at their Storefront location. A service project is currently being planned for this summer.
The committee is currently looking for helping hands to paint, clean up, and volunteer their time - anyone and everyone is welcome! SDYS is a non-profit organization dedicated to improving the lives of hundreds of homeless, runaway, abused and at-risk youth and their families across San Diego County.
