Summer Sunday School for 4 yrs - 5th Grade
*July 9 - August 27 
Hey Families, looking for a way for your pre-k and elementary children to dig into some Bible stories this summer? During the regular church school hour (9:30-10:30 AM) children are invited to come for a lesson and activities through  the months of July and August. Class will meet in room E-2 (across from the Garden Room). Teachers through the summer are: Courtney Parker, Bella Jarvis, Elizabeth Fryer, Hope Thacker and Brian Thacker. Hope to see you there!

Voice and Organ Recital at Parkway
Two University of North Texas music students, Samuel Gaskin and Hannah Ceniseros (niece of Iris Fielden), are excited to present a fun evening program of organ music and song. You will hear works by Handel, Bach, Mahler, and more!
 
Date: Wednesday, June 28th
Time: 7pm
Place: Parkway Presbyterian Church 
 
Please join them as they prepare for summer music programs abroad. Admission is free, but any donation is accepted gratefully and will help provide transportation costs, meals and brief lodging during their time abroad.

July 9th:  El Divino Collection
The second Sunday in July, which is the 9th, will be the next collection date for El Divino's Clothes Closet.  Any jeans, children's clothing, shoes, etc. can be used to give to those in need.  The Mission Outreach Committee will continue to support this project if you are cleaning closets this summer.

We had a great day on Monday! We help host 100 additional boys from the village. The hogar children also got fitted for new shoes - putting all those shoe funds you collected to good use!













Labor Day at Mo-Ranch
 
The dates this year are Sept. 1 - Sept. 4



Sign-up has begun for the annual Parkway Labor Day Retreat at MO-Ranch and will continue until all space is full.  
 
We have a variety of housing available.  Old members, new members, visitors, and guests are welcome to take part in this beloved Parkway tradition.  
 
If you have never been on this retreat and/or would like to learn more, information and prices will be available on Sundays in the narthex at the sign-up table or you can contact Lynn Ware by email or phone 857-6805.
 
Summer Handbells
During July we will meet at the Church of the Good Shepherd, 700 S Upper Broadway, on Mondays from 
6:30 - 7:30 pm. Please contact Joyce with questions.

Loaves and Fishes (Metro Ministries)
Loaves & Fishes is a free cafeteria that serves nutritious dine-in meals for the homeless, poor, working poor, disabled, and elderly. This program provides lunch and dinner Monday through Friday. Parkway has committed to serving in the soup kitchen every Friday, from 4:45 to 6 pm. A food handler's permit is required and quite easy to obtain. If you would like to participate in this ministry, contact Irene Jones at 993-9106.
