Proposals for small road improvements due July 15
The public is invited to
propose candidates for small-scale road improvements through Washington County Department of Land Use & Transportation.
To be eligible, proposed improvements must address safety or connectivity issues on a County road.
Please note: Traffic signals, signs, crosswalks and other pavement markings are handled by the
LUT Engineering Section and do not qualify for URMD funding.
Previously, URMD safety improvement projects included sidewalks, pedestrian pathways, a pedestrian/bike path and a retaining wall/guardrail.
Proposals received after July 15 are added to the candidate list for consideration in next years' project selection process. Candidates not selected for funding remain on the list for future consideration.
