New York firm chooses beautiful gray veneer Summits
As you have likely seen in past newsletters, Summit tilt-top tables can be design standouts in part because they are a reconfigurable table capable of handling heavier tabletop surfaces such as glass and stone. This is exciting and certainly follows the furniture industry trend toward these materials, but that capability doesn't diminish from the beauty and function of a lighter weight veneer Summit.
These gorgeous 60- by 60-inch Summits with square bases created for a New York real estate advisory firm are a stellar example.
Made from pre-dyed gray quartered Koto veneer in a bookmatched pattern, these Summits are lightly toned and finished with catalyzed lacquer at a 40-degree sheen.
The client purchased multiple tables, some with power and data boxes and some without, to be used together as 40-foot boardroom table. The tables can also be used separately for other uses, such as configuring into two smaller conference tables or as breakout tables.
