SUMMER ENRICHMENT PROGRAM
KICKS-OFF A FUN-FILLED SUMMER OF LEARNING AND EXPLORATION 
null PASADENA, CA - Pasadena Educational Foundation (PEF) Summer Enrichment Program is off to a great start with more than 1,300 students showing up for their first fun-filled week of summer learning and exploration.

The summer program, in its fourteenth year, offers hands-on exploration opportunities to perform, explore, create, and strategize for students entering grades K-12. Students choose from 100 exceptional classes held on multiple Pasadena-area campuses including Don Benito, McKinley, San Rafael, and Franklin. Each campus offers unique course offerings, including Spanish and Mandarin dual language, cooking, ukulele, songwriting, action sports, solar science, and more. Students in grades 9-12 can sign up for SAT/ACT preparation courses held i n partnership with the College Access Plan.
 
Late registration will be open through Friday, June 15.

The five-week program runs from June 12 - July 13 and is open to all students entering kindergarten through 12th grade; residence in the district or attendance in PUSD schools is not required.

Support from community partners and donors help the foundation provide this low-cost, high-quality, summer opportunity and provides tuition assistance to more than a third of the programs students. Supporters of the 2017 summer program include The Ahmanson Foundation, California Arts Council, The Green Foundation, Helen and Will Webster Foundation, Pasadena Community Foundation, and The Schow Foundation.
