Did you know that more than 60 Master Gardeners consult to school gardens around the county? For example, the pre-K class of deaf and hearing-impaired students at Whitman Elementary are growing (and eating) berries, lettuce, squash, grapes and more! And a Miramar Ranch Elementary class of 2nd graders just completed a two-week photosynthesis experiment using tomato plants.
