Howard Paras grew up in Cumberland County, Virginia and graduated from Cumberland High School.  He earned an Associate of Arts and Sciences in Education from Southside Virginia Community College.

After graduating from SVCC, Howard completed his Bachelor of Science in Management with a focus on Education from the University of Phoenix.  He plans to continue his education to obtain a teaching license and become an Algebra teacher.

Howard is currently a Career Coach and Assistant Athletic Director at Cumberland High School, and a Project Discovery Coordinator for Cumberland, Amelia, Buckingham, and Prince Edward High Schools.
