Brackets for Good
The Minnesota Brackets for Good 2018 tournament kicks off on Friday, March 2nd at 8 pm.

Once the competition begins, we have one week to   raise more money than our opponent  in order to advance to the next round and get closer to the $10,000 championship prize! We are the only organization in BFG that plants trees, so all funds raised will go to Tree Trust's Green Futures tree planting fund.

You can help Tree Trust beat the competition!

Cheer us on by following our current match up, liking and sharing our social media posts , and encouraging your friends and family to follow and give. You can even earn and donate money to Tree Trust at no cost to you!

Want to Donate? Visit our website to learn how you can earn free donations for Tree Trust (in less than 3 minutes!), and how you can double the impact of your donation!

We're grateful for whatever way you can be a part of the Tree Trust team and our
efforts to transform lives and landscapes!

Thank You!

Building Our Skills
Tree Trust is always encouraging our participants to build their skills and professional credentials to help them in their future careers.

Our staff takes that philosophy to heart as well. Every month, Tree Trust staff are building their professional skills to better serve our clients and communities. Here are just a few things we did in February:

Mental Health First Aid Training: Eleven Tree Trust staff earned a certificate in Mental Health First Aid from the  National Alliance on Mental Illness.

Chainsaw Training: Our two newest Crew Leaders, Lauren and Kelsey, completed a full-day chainsaw operation and tree-felling training with our professional Landscape Services department.

Disability Day at the Capitol: Staff from our JobPrep program attended Disability Day at the Capitol and learned strategies to advocate for people with Fetal Alcohol Spectrum Disorder.
We're CRC Certified!
Hooray! We've renewed our  Charities Review Council  Meets Standards® Seal.

Every three years, nonprofits must reapply to CRC and demonstrate 25 Accountability Standards® to earn the Meets Standards® Seal. We're proud to demonstrate the high quality of our fiscal and administrative practices to our stakeholders by earning this recognition.
