Dear BCA Families,

On behalf of the Belvoir Christian Academy School Board, I would like to inform you of some news concerning our head of school, Linda Dahnke. After much prayerful thought, Ms. Dahnke has decided to accept a teaching position at a school in Bradenton, FL. She will be at BCA through June 30. This was a difficult decision for her, but she mentioned that her first love is being in the classroom, teaching children who struggle with learning differences. This new position will allow her to pursue that desire and use her training in the way that she feels God has intended for her.

As mentioned, she will continue through the end of this month, and I, along with Pastor Sheets and our School Board, will keep you informed as we begin  searching for a new head of school for BCA.

We thank Ms. Dahnke for her time here and for leading the school over the past year. Please join me in wishing her well, and pray that God will watch over her as she and Shelby make plans to move to a new state.

Please also pray for God’s wisdom and guidance in bringing a new leader to BCA in the following months. For 130 years, BCA has been an excellent Christian school and has been home to thousands of students. We will continue on and be successful as new leadership is brought to us.

May the Lord be with us and guide us into the future.  I also pray that the Lord be with you all and fill you with peace and joy this summertime!
