The Humane Society of Greater Dayton currently has some healthy, semi-feral and feral barn cats in need of new outdoor homes!

Can you provide a new, permanent home to one or more homeless cats? Barn/outdoor homes are needed! Help put an end to a cat's homelessness by opening your heart and barn!

These types of cats may not fit well into a home environment, but they make ideal residents for farms, stables, barns and other suitable locations with outdoor shelter available.

All cats are spayed or neutered, vaccinated, microchipped and ear-tipped prior to being placed into a new location. Your responsibilities include providing daily food and water, shelter from weather and long-term veterinary care.

The staff and volunteers at the Humane Society of Greater Dayton will provide guidance to make the brief transition from our shelter to your location a success!

We Were Here Then & Are Here Now
Did you know that car windshields weren't created until 1904? Before that point, people had to drive with goggles on! Can you imagine that?!?

Did you also know that two years BEFORE the first windshield was ever created, the Humane Society of Greater Dayton was created to help the people and pets in the Miami Valley! Through the past 116 years, we've been here during so many small and large historical events and we will continue to be here helping the people and pets in our community for 116 more years! Thank you all for your continued support!

Celebrate the thousands of animals saved in 2017 with us at The Steam Plant, 617 E. Third Street in Dayton, from 11:30 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.

This event is free and open to the public! Free lunch will also be provided for all attendees from Chipotle Mexican Grill.
