Belonging: Never Give Up
The Reverend Mary Ann Macklin
Author BrenĂ© Brown writes, "Owning our story can be hard but not nearly as difficult as spending our lives running from it. Embracing our vulnerabilities is risky but not nearly as dangerous as giving up on love and belonging and joy--the experiences that make us the most vulnerable." In this worship service, we will begin to explore our new theme of Belonging.
This Week in Religious Education
World of Wonder (Preschool) will explore the Indigo Promise (Insist on Peace) with The Sunflower Sword. Roots and Wings (Kindergarten-2nd grade) will hear the Islamic tale True Inheritance. Curiosity Club (3rd grade +) will investigate Buddhism. Our  11:15 a.m.   Harry Potter and UU class will learn about personal online safety. Our High School Youth group will attend the Black Panther brown bag lunch and discussion and head upstairs to plan their upcoming schedule.
Religious Education Vision Team members will be in the Lucy Booth (yellow booth that looks a little like Lucy Van Pelt's psychiatrist booth)  this Sunday  during coffee hour in Fellowship Hall. We hope you will stop by and pick up a special gift as we move into our theme of Belonging for the month of March.
This Sunday!  Find your calling at the Getting Involved Fair!
The last Sunday of our biannual Getting Involved Fair will be held in the Fellowship Hall this  Sunday, March 4, between services. This is a great opportunity for everyone to see what our groups are doing and  get  involved in ways that call to you. You are always welcome to contact the Connections Coordinator, Ann LeDuc, to learn about groups and activities at the church that may interest you.

The Weather Looks Good for the Weekend
Sunny skies and moderate temperatures predicted! (So there is not a long article here about what to do when it snows.) YAY!
Parking Options on Sunday Mornings -
Please Don't Park on the Grass!
Our parking lot is often full on Sundays, especially at the second service. For those of you in good health and sure of foot, it would be wonderful if you could park on Jordan Avenue, or across the Bypass at Marching Hundred Hall (former Church of God), or across the street on the paved areas west of Fee Lane, to leave room in the lot for those who can't make the hike. This opportunity is especially helpful during winter weather. Additionally, please do not park in muddy or grassy areas within or neighboring the church's parking lot, as the soil is quite saturated, and the area cannot withstand the weight of vehicles.
